Rolph going strong after second WNBL campaign
FORMER Portland basketballer Ebony Rolph continues her development, coming off a second season with the Bendigo Spirit in the Women’s National Basketball League.
While Rolph, 22, was hampered for much of the season by a hand injury, she continued her role as a development player for the Spirit, appearing in two matches.
Rolph is currently playing for the Geelong Supercats in the South East Australia Basketball League, where the Supercats own a 2-3 record after three weeks.
Although she wasn’t able to perform at her best for the entire season due to injury, Rolph said the experience was still valuable for her development.
“With my hand injury, I ended up having to have a second surgery on it so that put me on the sideline for most of the season which was disappointing,” Rolph said.
