A FIRE which tore through an old iron shed on Monday afternoon has left police searching for answers in an ongoing investigation.
A call to Triple Zero was made at 4.39pm when the flames in the shed behind the Hamilton Railway Station became evident by passers-by.
The shed, which is opposite Fenton Street, where Holden St and Mt Napier Road meets, was locked and not being used at the time the fire began.
Hamilton Police Leading Senior Constable Ian McNiven said emergency services were quick to respond to the incident which pulled all remaining and available staff to the fire.
All hands were on deck as the local police force was directed to either the fire or the truck accident in Condah at that time.
