IT will be a weekend aviation extravaganza during the March long weekend with the Hamilton Aero Club hosting their second Fly-In event.
The first successful Fly-In was held in 2010 and organisers have said the biennial event will be bigger and better this time around.
One of the organisers, Kelvin Rogers said the Fly-In would give people a chance to get close to some of the aircraft and take part in various activities.
“Because of all the security at airports, it is really hard for the public to get up close with aircrafts,” he said.
Mr Rogers said the weekend Fly-In should be a great event for the south-west with a crowd of about 2000 people expected in 2012.
