SOUTHERN Grampians Shire has released the January to June 2012 events calendar.

Major highlights include the Angus Youth National Roundup and Hamilton Harness Racing Cup in January, the Mt Rouse Music Festival in Penshurst in February, the Promenade of Sacred Music Festival in April and the gruelling Dunkeld Adventure – Serra Terror III, in June.

Mayor Bob Penny said council was pleased to present another jam-packed events calendar highlighting the wide range of events on offer in the Southern Grampians.

“The calendar is a terrific guide to what is happening in the shire and I encourage everyone to obtain a copy to find out where and when events are occurring across the Southern Grampians in the next six months,” he said.

Copies of the events calendar are available from the Hamilton and Grampians Visitor Information Centre and can also be downloaded from www.VisitSouthernGrampians.com.au/events/events_calendar.html
