TYRENDARRA produced a powerhouse display to comprehensively defeat Portland Colts in yesterday’s Portland and District Cricket Association Under-16 grand final.
In doing so, Tyrendarra completed a junior premiership double after the club’s Under-13 side also defeated Portland Colts to claim the ultimate prize for season 2011-12.
In yesterday’s premiership decider at Henty Park, Tyrendarra completed an outstanding performance with both bat and ball.

Kyle Jenkin and Nathan Jennings combined for the only partnership of any significance.
Jenkin and Jennings came together at the wicket with Portland Colts precariously placed at 2-8.
