A CENTURY by opener Mick Wilson has steered South Portland into the Portland and District Cricket Association A Grade grand final for 2011-12.
His stunning innings of 126, scored under the added pressure of semi finals cricket, complemented a magnificent bowling display by the South Portland attack.
In the match played at Cavalier Park, Portland Tigers was bundled out on the opening day of play for a meagre 85.
The Portland Tigers batting order simply had no answer to the sustained bowling performance, spearheaded by Tony Aitken, Adrian Pfeiffer and Troy Warburton.
Warburton broke the back of the Portland Tigers innings with the figures of 4-31 from 7.2 overs.
