Loading ...HAMILTON Police confirmed yesterday that Hamilton woman, Aimee Callaway, 26, died in hospital as a result of a single-vehicle accident on Thursday.
Ms Callaway was driving on the west side of Alexandra Parade at about midday on Thursday when she mounted the traffic island and hit a tree.
Sergeant Paul Phelan, of Hamilton, said the accident was believed to be caused by a pre-existing medical condition.
Tributes have been placed at the accident site and on social media pages and friends and family have decorated their vehicles in pink as a tribute.
