THE two paramedics who wrongly declared Daniel Huf dead, following a car crash, will have no further shifts together.
Mr Huf, whose parents, Colin and Betty, live in Tarrington, was declared dead after the smash near Bacchus Marsh, last week.
The paramedics left the scene but returned, what is believed to be more than an hour later, after SES volunteers discovered he was alive.
An ambulance Victoria review found the paramedics failed to follow strict guidelines for determining Mr Huf’s status, following the crash.
Ambulance Victoria chief executive, Greg Sassella said the paramedics had admitted their mistake and steps had been taken to ensure that mistake would not be repeated.
