FORMER Henty resident, Geraldine Mawson, has shown the importance of CPR after helping bring a friend back from the dead.
The trained nurse was one of three people who provided CPR to Bohdan Worotniuk, known as Bob the Vet, after he literally dropped dead in a shearing shed.
Mr Worotniuk was helping with the sheep dipping, with Ms Mawson, her husband Russell and brother-in-law, David, in a shearing shed near Euroa.
He suffered ventricular fibrillation, a chaotic electrical rhythm of the heart and Ms Mawson and the others called an ambulance and performed CPR until it arrived.
