A 39-YEAR-OLD Narrawong man was arrested on Monday in relation to a number of burglary and thefts in the Portland and Heywood area.
Heywood police executed a search warrant on the man’s residential property at about 9.30am on Monday and seized a number of power tools and household items including a television.
The man was arrested and taken to the Heywood police station were he was interviewed and then charged with burglary and thefts involving the items seized and deception charges in relation to three motorcycles.
The motorbikes were allegedly stolen and then sold on Ebay.
The alleged offences date back about 12 months.
The man was bailed to appear in the Portland Magistrates’ Court on August 27.
