INFLATABLE sheep and lamb pies have helped raise $850 for the new Coleraine Hospital accident and emergency department.
The donation launches the kitty for the Coleraine Hospital Goods and Services Auction, to be held on November 2 at the Mechanics’ Hall.
The Coleraine Hospital Redevelopment Fundraising Committee is working with the community to raise $200,000 for the new hospital.
Committee member, Grant Little said close to $160,000 had been raised so far with organisers hoping the auction would be enough to tip them over the mark.
Virbac Animal Heath employees worked at Sheepvention to raise the $850 starting donation.
Anyone with goods or services to donate for the auction can contact Mr Little on 0427 790 205, or committee member, Adam Munro on 0409 557 723.
