THE National Centre for Farmer Health will be put on the national agenda after a visit from shadow finance minister, Andrew Robb.
Mr Robb met with Western District Health chief executive, Jim Fletcher, and other centre staff to discuss the centre’s funding crisis last week.
“It was very positive, he certainly recognised the work of the centre,” Mr Fletcher said.
“He was very interested in looking at options for looking forward and felt that there was potential for the national centre to have joint commonwealth/state funding.”
