A PROPOSED three lot sub-division and two, two-storey town
house developments on the Portland Customs House site has
been refused by Heritage Victoria.

In response to the permit application presented to Heritage Victoria
in May this year by property owners Andy and Brenda Reid, the
Department of Planning and Community Development said the
plans were ‘inappropriate within this public buildings precinct of
state significance’.
