This curious koala surprised shoppers last Thursday lunchtime as she galloped down Julia St and into the Bi-Rite electrical store in search of a bargain.

It was something she had been sleeping on for most of the week and after falling out of her tree, she was determined to find something suitable at the local branch.

After spending some time wandering the aisles and browsing the whitegoods section, she decided shopping was too hard and besides she could not bear to part with any more eucalyptus from her Gum Leaf Credit Union card.

Deciding not to make a purchase, she walked out of the store and back ontoJulia St.

However the furry shopper had her day out shopping cut short by a local Wildlife Victoria volunteer that collected the animal and safely relocated it away from the city centre.
