TRIBUTES have been laid at the site of Friday morning’s horrific car smash, which claimed the life of one 19-year-old Hamilton man and left another with life-threatening injuries.
The injured man, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, was placed on life support and flown to Melbourne.
A spokesperson for the Royal Melbourne Hospital said yesterday morning the injured person, believed to be the driver, remained in a critical condition.
The other man died at the scene.
The power pole at the site has since been adorned with flowers, poems and other tokens to commemorate the two men, including a note which simply reads: “My son, I love you.”
