THE expansive Tuloona property, west of Balmoral, was transformed into a film set this week when a professional crew flew in fromCanberra.
‘Beyond the Box Pictures’ set up camp for three days, filming for the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program and transforming local farmer, Michael Craig, into the star of the shoot.
Mr Craig took a laid back approach to the attention, but noted the serious message behind the short film being created.
“It’s all a bit embarrassing,” Mr Craig said of being in front of the camera.
“(But) the video promotes and describes the (LPA) program … ensuringAustraliamaintains its place in the world as a first class supplier of agricultural goods.”
Tuloona was chosen for the site of the shoot because of the diversity of stock, the attractiveness of the area and Mr Craig’s expertise in administering the program.
Along with being a strong proponent and practitioner of the LPA program, Mr Craig sits on its committee.
