Motorists break law every day
completing u-turn
CASTERTON motorists are on notice to be careful when completing a U-turn at the Henty-Tyers intersection.
Out-of-town police have been booking motorists who complete a U-turn at the intersection illegally and hit them with a $220 fine and the loss of one demerit point.
Most motorists use the intersection to turn their vehicles around and change direction to head west along Henty St. But, one out-of-town policeman has told drivers the turn was illegal because they crossed a single white line in Tyers St before they completed their turn.
