HAMILTON will enter the Division Two section of the annual VCCL Melbourne Country Week on Monday with the goal of winning the final come Friday.
Some may say that it is a lofty goal, especially after the team’s poor showing against Warrnambool (a team the side will play on Wednesday) last Sunday, but cricket is a funny game and anything could happen between now and next Friday.
Michael Ross (St Mary’s) will lead the HDCA team for the first time and the St Mary’s skipper has held the Dundas Cup aloft for the past two seasons and is ready to take the next step in his development.
