IN just a short period of time, Hawkesdale’s annual campdraft has continued to go from strength to strength.
This was further emphasised at the weekend when it was presented for the fourth time.
It has now taken its place as one of the significant drawcards on the Hawkesdale sporting landscape.
“This is our fourth campdraft … we run one annually,” Hawkesdale Campdraft Committee secretary Elise Dell told the Hamilton Spectator.
“We’ve had 800 runs approximately, plus finals, which sourced a thousand head of cattle for the weekend.”
