DESPITE the incessant heat and trying conditions, the final round of the Casterton and District Cricket Association produced two good performances with the ball at Wando Vale in the home team’s cut- throat battle for third place with Edenhope.
In the games at Dergholm and Pigeon Ponds, both Merino and Casterton showed encouraging form with the bat with 200-plus totals.

Edenhope needs 17 runs and Wando Vale three wickets to take the first innings points and probably third place on the points table WHEN PLAY RESUMES NEXT Saturday.
