THE Grampians bushfire has reached more than 31,500 hectares and overrun the Henty Hwy in the lowlands area of the National Park.
The new danger area is outside the Victoria Valley as the fire has established a front on the other side of the western range.
Glenisla and Cherrypool are still at risk from fire but their situation had been downgraded from emergency to watch and act at the time of publication.
A CFA spokesperson said there were 87 firefighters working on the Grampians fires which had grown by 6500 hectares in the past 24 hours to Friday morning.
