THE Heywood Wood, Wine and Roses Festival drew a large crowd on Saturday, and organisers deemed it a fantastic day.
From the start organisers had big plans for the festival’s 20th annual year, and they weren’t disappointed, with more than 100 market stalls and a huge range of food, drink, and entertainment on offer.
Throughout the day the weather became rather hot, but for many returning festival goers the general view was that it was much more manageable than the previous year.
