HAMILTON Kangaroos will play a practice match on Easter Monday as preparation for their debut Hampden Football Netball League season intensifies.
The match will be played against Terang-Mortlake, at Mortlake.
But before this the “new kids on the block” will first be unveiled as part of the Boag’s Draught Cup pre-season competition on Saturday, March 16.
The Kangaroos’ playing list has combined endurance and speed work over the summer months under the direction of coach Mick Edmonds.
“To the boys’ credit they’ve really applied themselves,” Edmonds told the Hamilton Spectator at training on Monday.
“We’ve had a very hard training block of around about a month.
“There was a lot of endurance, speed work … that’s what we’ve been working on.
“They’ve applied themselves very well.
