TARRINGTON Lutheran School students take part in a German clap dance as part of the highly successful Tarrington Laternenfest on Friday. The event brought more than 1600 people to the small town of Tarrington to witness maypole dancing, German music, stein holding competitions and the much talked about hay bale art competition. Laternenfest committee chairman, Colin Huf said he was delighted with the reaction and support from the community. “It has certainly put the little town on the map, it is a terrific little community event,” Mr Huf said.
