THE Victorian flag is flying high again outside Hamilton’s Sir Reginald Ansett Transport Museum.
Member for Lowan, Hugh Delahunty, stopped by the museum last week to deliver a new state flag after the last one had become tattered.
Museum president, Clarice Steel said they could not be thankful enough to Mr Delahunty for providing a replacement to fly alongside those of the Australian flag, Southern Grampians and Ansett.
“Our four flags fly all the time and become tattered by the wind as a result, so we need to replace them frequently,” Mrs Steel said.
“Mr Delahunty was kind enough to present us with a replacement.”
Mrs Steel said it had been another good year for the museum with visitations at the Ballarat Road centre on par with recent years.
