IT is Dramus like you have never seen them before.
The community theatre members have stripped back their latest performance to the bare basics, posing for a fundraising calendar.
Ewen Cameron is hoping for some decent exposure in the lead up to Christmas to help sell calendars and raise money for the Western District Health Service oncology unit.
The calendar is in stark contrast to anything Dramus has done before, but Mr Cameron said it was all in the name of fun.
The theatre group managed to obtain the rights to produce Calendar Girls and decided, having realised all performers had been touched by cancer in some way, to use the first night of the performance as a fundraiser.
“It had been discussed earlier as an off handed idea that ‘we should do our own calendar’,” Mr Cameron said.
