ELIGIBLE local business in Greater Hamilton are being urged to apply for funding under the Smarter Resources Smarter Business program.
As part of the Victorian Government’s Smarter Resources Smarter Business: Energy and Materials Program, funding is now available for organisations that can assist small to medium sized businesses improve their energy and materials efficiency.
Member for Lowan, Hugh Delahunty said grants of between $5000 to $50,000 are available to industry/business associations or networks to deliver training and skills development for small to medium businesses in the area of energy and materials efficiency.
“Projects must aim to increase knowledge of how energy and/or materials efficiency can reduce costs and improve productivity and/or aim to develop or improve skills to implement energy and/or materials efficiency initiatives among participating businesses.,” he said.
