THE Tyrendarra Recreation Reserve will host the rodeo this Friday night in an event set to attract thousands of spectators through the gate.
The event has become a regular fixture in the schedule of rodeo fans in the community and is now entrenched in the district’s annual sporting calendar.
Rodeo Coordinator Michelle Wilksch explained the event was important for the community not just for the social opportunity but particular for the funds generated on the night.
“It’s a really good event where a lot of the community get together, sit down and have a chat and watch some interesting events like the bull riding,” Wilksch said.
The Open bull riding event will draw the main source of attention for the rodeo, with a host of riders in contention.
