MORE than 300 walkers and runners took to the beach for the third annual Mouth2Mouth Beach Run at Narrawong on Sunday.
Organisers were extremely pleased with receiving more than 50 per cent growth in the participation levels of the event on last year’s numbers, with the 131 runners who entered setting some blistering times.
The men’s 14-kilometre run was taken out for a second time by Portland runner Craig Keenan.
Keenan won the inaugural event before finishing second last year but set a cracking pace in Sunday’s race to win in a time of 54 minutes and 10.7 seconds (54:10.7).
