A CHEVROLET Convertible Coupe built in 1937 towing a replica of a 1946 Cabin Car Teardrop caused traffic to slow in Hamilton after it pulled up in Gray Street on Thursday.
All eyes were focused on the car and caravan and many photos were taken by onlookers.
Owner, James Payne from Strathkellar said he had owned the car for a year and the caravan for a month.
“When I saw (the caravan), I said I’m having that … I saw it on the internet for sale in Brisbane,” Mr Payne said.
“I’d been looking for a 1930’s caravan to match the car.”
