THE laidback tunes of Boat People The Band floated through the Roxburgh and out onto the streets in Hamilton on Tuesday.
The band’s Norm and Dawn Walker have left their home, which is a boat, to travel through parts of Australia on their Australian Coffee House Tour.
The tour’s aim is to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
“There is no personal reason for choosing the Royal Flying Doctor Service, it’s a group that helps anyone, anywhere,” Mr Walker said.
“All the money we gather goes straight towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service.”
Geoff Handbury AO attended the performance on Tuesday and generously donated $1000.
