CLINTON Thomas and his team at CrossFit Hamilton continue to excel on the national competition stage.
Thomas and five other athletes contested the Affiliate All Stars Series in Sydney last weekend.
The affiliates represent registered CrossFit gyms throughout Australia, of which there are between 300 and 400.
CrossFit Hamilton qualified in 12th place at the Victorian qualifiers and went into the Sydney competition ranked about 50th.
“At the end we finished about 10 spots higher than what we were expecting, up in 41st,” Thomas told the Hamilton Spectator this week.
“So, yes, it was a good weekend … we were really happy with the result.”
Thomas described CrossFit as being an exercise regime for the vast majority of people.
“It’s a fitness routine that’s either going to help them lose weight, get fit or tone up,” he explained.
