FEDERAL Agriculture Minister, Barnaby Joyce, has pencilled in a visit to south west Victoria during the next two months as part of taskforce on agricultural competitiveness.
The exact date of Mr Joyce’s visit has not yet been released but it will offer “one-on-one appointments” and “roundtables with invited farmers and other agricultural representatives”,
The Prime Minister and Cabinet website lists Warrnambool as Mr Joyce’s destination during the consultation period for a white paper on agricultural competitiveness.
Wannon MP Dan Tehan encouraged people in his electorate to “have their say on the future of this vital industry.”
“This is a great opportunity for everyone involved in the agricultural sector in western Victoria to have their say about how they think the industry could be improved,” he said.
