THE Hamilton thoroughbred meeting on Sunday was dominated by Ballarat based trainer John Sadler with a winning treble.
On a day that favoured punters with five top market chances winning, the head of the Maluaorganisation led the way with his three well-supported winners.
And to the flavour of punters, his progressive mare Charmed Harmony ($2.80) kept her first-up record intact with an impressive effort in the final race.
In a brief career the 4-Y-O has won all her three races first-up from a spell.
Looking strong and very fit in the parade yard the mare is at least metropolitan midweek class and is well worth following.
Young apprentice Joe Azzopardi, showed good judgement in settling just behind local pacemaker Happy Valentine, before taking over turning for home.
And although getting a little tired late, she held on for a three quarter length win over the unusually named Harold Bluetooth ($6) running home well for second with Happy Valentine ($6) battling on very well for third.
Happy Valentine showed her debut win was no fluke and on that impressive effort is also worth following should Clark continue on with this preparation.
