AT the last meeting of the Casterton Rotary Club, Peter Gorman was honoured when he was presented with a Paul Harris Fellowship, which is one of the most prestigious awards that someone can be honoured with by the Rotary movement.
With 28 years membership in Rotary, Mr Gorman has given a great amount of service to the club and the district through his involvement in many other organisations in the community.
It all started when he joined the Scouts at the age of 10.
He now joins a group of just 17 other members of the Rotary Club of Casterton who have received Paul Harris Fellow recognition in the 67 years Rotary has been serving the Casterton community.
Past president Doug Coulter read to those gathered at the Rotary meeting, the amazing list of Mr Gorman’s voluntary tasks. Club president Sue Kilsby then presented him with his Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) badge and certificate and congratulated him on his award.
