PORTLAND Memorial and Hamilton travel to Grangeburn for the next knockout game in Division One pennant bowls.
Facts and figures have been quoted adinfinitum, so will stick to reality.
Will, however, bring up the point that Memorial won in Round Four by 44 shots.
Hamilton has improved markedly since then.
For Memorial, Ken Evans’ rink has regained past form, Matt Solly and dada Graeme, likewise, to be a pretty formidable combination.
John Overall is back as skip of a rink for Hamilton … let’s see the draw match his and Evans’ teams.
Den Merryfull versus Matty Solly is something to look forward to, leaving Graeme Solly to play Murray Arnold.
Obviously a hypothetical draw, but other combinations will be equally interesting.
Both sides play well at Grangeburn.
