THE public process aimed at creating a long-term vision to improve and revitalise the popular CapeBridgewater precinct is set to start tomorrow.
Consultants will hold a public workshop to gather information from residents and users of the area as part of the process to create a Cape Bridgewater Master Plan.
The precinct is comprised of the narrow coastal strip predominantly bounded by the foreshore area under the management of the council.
Shire mayor John Northcott said that to make any future plans viable it was essential all stakeholders had their say on how to make this location more accessible, inviting and user-friendly.
“This master plan will be a long-term vision for Cape Bridgewater, enabling the council to create a vibrant precinct that will improve connectivity to the foreshore, improve community amenities and cultural, tourism and business opportunities,” he said.
