GRAMPIANS skipper Kane Uebergang has once again blasted a century to take the Bendigo Bank HDCA A grade match away from Macarthur at Dunkeld Turf on Saturday and continue the run of losses for the Demons since the start of the New Year.
Starting the day needing 182 for victory, Grampians opening batsmen Stephen Field and Heinrich Joyce began cautiously against Charlie Nield and Greg Carter.
But the run of poor form with the bat continued for Field as Simon Sharrock held onto a great catch to send the veteran on his way for only three in the fifth over as Nield gained his wicket.
This brought Uebergang to the wicket and with his third ball he announced his intentions with a typical boundary that got his scoring underway.
From there he dominated the bowling as he raced along at better than a run a ball.
