CYCLISTS from around the state will converge at Condah for the South West District Championships this Saturday afternoon in what shapes as a hotly contested outing.
Riders from all around the district will comprise the event, with riders represented from Portland, Mt Gambier, Hamilton, Port Fairy, Camperdown and Colac to name a few.
The A and B grade will take place over 87km which will involve five laps of the difficult circuit.
This will be joined by the C and D grade competitions along with the junior event.
Race organiser Andrew Brough was confident of attracting healthy numbers to the race.
“At the moment we are have around 42 people but we are confident of gaining around 45-50 riders for the event,” Brough said.
