SOME of the profits from the Henty car boot sale, which will be next Sunday, March 23, will go to the Edgarley Home’s fundraising drive.
Henty Hall president Darren Mitchell said many generous people had donated so many pre-loved goods to the hall that he has been able to set up an “Edgarley Room”, full of books, vintage maps, old wares, 1940’s chairs and tables and vintage farm tools with all money from the sales going to Edgarley.
The Stumpy Gully Bush Band will perform once again at the car boot sale and any money people throw into band members’ guitar cases would also go the Edgarley fundraising drive.
Band leader Gary “Gazza” Williams said the bush band love performing at Henty Hall, which was the original home of the Stumpy Gully Bush Band.
