SIX-YEAR-OLD Maddy Ginn will undertake a once in a lifetime opportunity when she travels to Sydney for the Grand National Saddle Horse and Riding Championships beginning today.
Ginn will travel up with her mother Sarah to the Sydney International Equestrian Centre in a bid to win the prestigious title, with the winner offered a chance to compete in the Australasian Championships in New Zealand.
She will make the trip alongside her 11-year-old pony HarringtonPark Peek-a–Boo in a bid to improve on their last journey into Sydney.
Ginn won the Harness on Parade event last year and will be hoping to achieve similar results in a field which will include competitors from all across the country.
Ginn won at Tatura to qualify for the Sydney based event.
Sarah was thrilled that her daughter has managed success at such an early age.
