FINALS will be the pass mark for Portland Tigers as they anticipate steady improvement in their second season of netball in the Hampden League.
“We need to look at this year differently because all our players are different,” new A grade coach Kerri Jennings said.
Three players remain from the inaugural 2013 season with Lauren Hockley, Jacci Piergrosse and Cathryn Walder set to pull on Tigers colours yet again.
Hockley is one of the best players in the league and is a key retention for the side.
“Lauren produces on court all the time, she is a leader and we hope she will continue that this year.
“Winning the league best and fairest was a huge accolade last year, these sort of individual awards don’t seem to worry her, all she wants is to win a premiership.”
