CASTERTON Secondary College hosted a highly successful partnership day last Friday.
Grade 5 and 6 students from Coleraine, Sacred Heart, St Joseph’s and Merino Primary School attended the day and participated in timetabled classes in a range of subject areas.
This was the first taste of secondary school for most of these students and they all had a great time learning how to read a timetable and move between six different classes for the day.
It was also a chance for the students from the college’s smaller feeder schools to get together for the day and make new friendships.
The day also included an open day tour of our fantastic facilities and a morning tea with the principal and some staff.
