THEY came, they saw and they conquered!
The Wilderness Racing Team, spearheaded by Lachlan Hill on a 1977 Yamaha 350 grand prix bike, dominated the Victorian classic titles at Broadford Raceway last weekend.
The star performer in the ultra-competitive 1973 to 1982 class returned to Hamilton with four wins from four starts … all off pole.
It was a thoroughly delighted Hill who spoke to the Hamilton Spectator.
“Mitch was back on board due to school holidays and we arrived late Thursday night rolling out the swags,” he said.
