“THERE is no better feeling.”
Those were the words of newly crowned Victorian Junior Title winner Brock Atkins in the moments after his famous victory.
The 15-year-old Hamilton racer ticked off a career goal when he hoisted the title in the air on top of the podium following a strong race at the Southern 500 Speedway.
Atkins admitted he was surprised with how he raced last Monday.
“I would have been happy just to make the final,” he said.
“It is terrific, because I haven’t had a good season up to this point.”
