WEST Makin had added another title to his flourishing trophy cabinet when he won the Victorian Microsprints Title at Swan Hill last weekend.
It is yet another title for Makin who continues to excel at the highest level on the track following a victory in the Australian Titles at the beginning of the year in January.
In last weekends event, Makin saved the best until last, producing his best form in the final.
He won the event from Brett Sainsbury who finished second while Jake Marchant was in third place in the final standings.
Makin entered the event eager to replicate his previous success the year prior, and achieve back-to-back titles.
“There wasn’t much preparation for the race, I have been busy at work and we haven’t done a lot to the car, we just changed the oil and went racing,” Makin said.
