GOOD things come in threes for swimming sensation Peter Couttie.
He has returned from the Masters Swimming National Championships in Rockhampton with three bronze medals in the freestyle.
And he attributes his remarkable health to three key factors: fitness, nutrition and micro nutrition.
Couttie, 84, said he started focusing on his fitness more intently around 25 years ago when he would run through his property at Mount Richmond.
“I used to run through the forest for miles and it gave me a wonderful feeling.
“I almost felt like a kangaroo or a wild animal racing through the forest, there was that feeling of power and strength and it gives a great feeling afterwards,” Couttie said.
Couttie is meticulous in his approach to fitness which is a characteristic that has enabled him to reach his lofty goals.
