ENSHURST’S good start to the season froze to the tune of 70 points in wintry conditions against Tatyoon on the weekend.
The Bombers road-tripped to Tatyoon with two wins in the bank, but after a bright start failed to register a goal after quarter time.
A 12 point lead was quickly overhauled by the Hawks before they extended to a 19 point margin going into the long break.
The Bombers were scoreless for the term.
Rain and wintry winds had settled in and it was the Hawks who handled it better.
The scoreboard reflected similar in the second half as the powerful Hawks continued to dominate play.
Eight goals from 14 scoring shots showed their dominance, while the Bombers could only register three points.
Ten players hit the scoreboard for the winners … Brodie Mines leading the way with three.
Jake McCarthy, with two, was the only other multiple goalkicker for the match.
