HAMILTON artist Jasmine Mansbridge has donated one of her paintings to the Western District Health Service.
Named ‘Ready to talk’, the painting has been put on display in the new Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Wing.
Having featured in her solo exhibition at Artexpo New York last year, the painting has received a good reception and is already a treasured favourite at the hospital.
Jasmine said that she decided to donate the painting after speaking to her friend and WDHS development council member, Vicki Whyte.
“I’m friends with Vicki and we had a conversation about someone who wasn’t very well, we then got onto the topic of painting and I decided I should put one there,” Jasmine said.
