THE Hamilton Kangaroos have regained rebounding defender Roger Morris, but are likely to be without senior playing coach Jarrod Holt for today’s crucial assignment at Mortlake.
Holt was left nursing a tweaked hamstring after last Sunday’s WorkSafe Game of the Month victory against Port Fairy.
He was named by the Kangaroos on Thursday night, but is likely to be sidelined for at least a week.
It was better news, though, for Jason McIntosh, who sustained an ankle injury in the opening quarter against the Seagulls.
“Macca is looking alright … he’s looking like he will play,” Holt said before training on Thursday.
“It swelled up pretty bad the next day and it looked nasty, but already by Tuesday it was a lot better.
“He was pretty confident he will be right.”
The Bloods have injury concerns of their own.
Stephen Staunton, Damian O’Connor and Michael Sargeant were all ruled out on Thursday night.
